Very helpful plugin
Very helpful plugin in generating alt texts. Although it needs to always to review them for errors. Many times the text must corrected but it speeds the all process writing alt texts much more than doing it yourself. Definitely recommended!

Does not work with AVIF image files.
Disappointed Alt Text AI does nothing if your pics are AVIF format. I’ve converted most images on my site to AVIF (from jpg) since the file size is usually 90% smaller than jpeg (after compression). Amazing!
It’s really amazing what AI can do now. I had 8,500 images to add alt-text to and this plugin was able to write the text for me. The description are surprisingly accurate. I am going through everything to make sure the descriptions are correct as occasionally something is misinterpreted, but this is a huge time saver.

This is by far the best alt text tool I’ve found. They’ve come along ways with their descriptions since it was first released and I’m so glad I snagged the LTD when it was available.
