  • Errors since version 7.3.5

Since version 7.3.5 the Block Editor no longer shows the WHEN metabox. It shows up within the List view as a locked block component and is broken. When we switch to the Classic Editor the editors can not format the posts using the proper blocks that they need to use. On existing events when using the block editor even

  • Great event plugin

I’ve tried lots of event plugins and this was by far the best. It ticked all the boxes for me. I wanted a comprehensive search bar, multiple viewing options and reoccurring events. The free version was a great way to get started but the pro is even better especially with the import/export capability. I found the

  • Don’t Upgrade to 7.3.1

Update: After 7 weeks, and days of effort on my part, I was able to track down the issue. You need to have pre-publishing checks on to publish an event with the new version. Seems like a use case that should have been tested before release, or if known included in upgrade notes. My notes about the blocks not having

  • Excellent, but v7.3 crashed the site

Something wrong with 7.3 version. It crashed the site. WP vers 7.0

  • Great but crashed my site.

I’ve been using it Events Manager for many years, both the Pro and Free versions, but the latest Free (7.3) crashed my site when updated.

  • Very customizable – Pro support can feel lacking.

In general EM & Pro is great. Extremely customizable even if you aren’t a developer but willing to use available resources. However Pro support can sometimes feel lacking. This topic was modified 3 months, 2 weeks ago by willpom.

  • Paid for license but it was not working

I paid 99€ for a license, but the license itself is not working — which means I was never able to actually use the plugin I paid for. After purchase, I tried to activate the license as instructed, but it simply would not work. Because of this, I couldn’t access or use the core functionality of the plugin at all. So

  • Calendar month picker breaks with non-English locales (fix inside)

The plugin is very powerful and flexible, but I ran into a critical issue with the calendar month picker when using a non-English locale (e.g. French). After an AJAX reload of the calendar, the selected month becomes incorrect (often resets to January). This happens because the JS code parses a localized string like

Best free feature set, very customizable, works great.

  • Rating is for PRO version only!

I’ve played around with this plug in for years. And the free version is great. Recently I felt I needed some features that weren’t available unless I upgraded to pro, so I plopped down the 100+ bucks to do so. And did so gladly. I did this knowing full well that there had been reviews stating that the customer support

  • Simply works

The most amazing this about this plugin is that it SIMPLY WORKS. I am sure there are paid options, and I may consider them once I get my site off the ground and hopefully start making money. Many other plugins want you to submit your earnings that you will make 3 years from now to them ahead of time. Events Manager

  • Do not purchase the premium version!

I recently renewed my plugin license because I needed help with technical issues, and for two months I haven’t been able to get a response on their forum or to my emails requesting a refund. I finally had to install another events plugin that works properly. I do not recommend working with this unprofessional company

  • Extremy flexible and feature rich

This is the best events manager plugin I’ve encountered so far. It’s extremely feature-rich and flexible, with options for virtually everything. This versatility is invaluable when running the plugin on client websites, as it enables you to fulfill all their requirements and needs. Highly recommended!

Has everything I need, thank you, great job!

  • Does its job well

Sorry I didn’t give you 5 stars although your plugin is the right choice for me. 4,5 would be fair. My usecase was to have a (free) plugin for a small non-commercial site integrating well into my simple layout (I don’t need shiny crafted designs which don’t adopt to my site at all), but customize simple lists of

  • Useful and user-friendly

Events Manager is one of the reasons we use WordPress. It is simple to create events and keep track of participants when you use the registration option. Support is prompt and helpful. Results are accessible for screen readers. Thanks.

  • Be wary, documentation is not accurate

I needed to import events from another plugin. Based on their documentation, which clearly stated that the import add-on was included in the Pro subscription, I upgraded to Pro. This was the only feature I needed. The add-on was not available to me. When I asked support why it wasn’t available, they said I would need

  • Impressive work

Seriously some things are hard cause this plugin is complicated as heck, but it does everything. And they keep making it better. Some features are really hard to find but once you do you are amazed. Use the forums a lot!! The documentation doesn’t have everything. Very helpful for us overall despite the occasional

  • messy uninstall

I didn’t get very far into testing — it didn’t seem to have the display I needed — but I noticed that after uninstallation it left hundreds of disused tables in my database. This makes me leery of other issues, so I will not be testing further.

  • A Powerful Tool with Some Rough Edges

The Events Calendar is one of the best event plugins out there. Even the free version offers lots of features that cover almost everything a club or small organization might need. The support team is also very responsive — even for free users, which is a big plus. There are, however, some weak spots. The Customizer

  • Slim, beautiful, flexible

I use it on my private site for keeping track of my personal events like appointments. It looks good, it works better than the other plugins I tried and I recommend it over the alternatives – and I tried many. Once the categoriy colors are fixed it truly deserves five stars, but I rate it five already since I trust

  • Great plugin

This is a good plugin with a lot of options for configuration. The presentation of events is very good too, including the preview when you click on an event in the calendar. You can display events only related to the city of the organizer’s location (I’m talking about the possible filter on a calendar) but I would

  • Nice, if you only need the Free Version

First off, it is a flexibel plugin with a lot of potential. For those needing only the free plugin and not using it for business critical functionality, i can recommend to try it. So much for the good news. If you start using it, there are lots of issues. Pro support is as good as non existent. The developer is

  • A solid and versatile plugin for every need

The great thing about EventsManager is that it offers comprehensive solutions for all kinds of uses-whether you want to use the plugin simply or in a very complex way. I personally use it in a rather straightforward manner, without calendar views or booking features, but that definitely doesn’t mean the plugin isn’t

  • Once a Great Plugin, Now a Disappointing Mess

I was initially a big fan of Events Manager Pro. The plugin is user-friendly and offers extensive options for custom development, making it a powerful tool for event management. Unfortunately, the support and ongoing development of the plugin have been disappointing, making it increasingly difficult to use it
