Free version is crippled
All I wanted was a simple plugin (to replace Subscribe2) that will email subscribers whenever a new post is made. Perhaps I did not read the documentation carefully enough, but I wasted almost an hour before discovering that this basic functionality is missing in the free version.

Plugin stopped working out of the blue

Works great
It just works. Yes, it is a bit complex because it offers you lots of options. And yes, the newsletter editor could use a facelift. But keep in mind that most of the functionality of this beast comes for free. It is a fantastic plugin that does the job.

I used to use MailChimp and found it too overwhelming with having to go back and forth between WP and MC. Not to mention I couldn’t have more than 1000 subs. Now it’s all in my WP. And easy to use!

No matter how many plugin add ons, updates, and other ridiculous number of adjustments the troubleshooting suggests, this newsletter just doesn’t send to hardly anyone. I have been using Newsletter for a while now, after trying a number of the other popular “newsletter” services. I have to say it has never let me down. It is much more intuitive in how it works compared with other plugins and works right out of the box. A big “thumbs up” to the developers. Keep up the good work.

No export function, no support
It’s impossible to export your e-mails, even after installing an extra plugin provided by them. The support is unreachable, I created an account etc. impossible to reach out. This is very disappointing and frustrating.

Really Good But…
This is a really good and comprehensive newletter tool. The constant, constant updates gets a bit old though. Everytime I login to WP, which is multiple times daily, there’s another update. They sure like to interrupt your workflow. It must not be that stable on the backend.
