Great turn-key solution
Worked out of the box for me on a VPS; we were developing a system in parallel to an existing site and someone else installed this instead of using our existing process. I learned of a new plugin and a new way of doing things for WP. Very impressed.

Works Great!
This works great. I had used it months ago for something else. But I needed to migrate a Ning.com website with members into a new Buddypress site. I had to make sure the members were not emailed or pinged. This plugin stopped all outgoing emails to all the members.

This is just what I was looking for. I use the plugin Site Push to maintain a test copt of my live site. You can set that plugin to enable the Stop Emails plugin on the test site and enable it on the live site. I also use the plugin Log Emails to log outgoing emails. Emails get logged by this even when being stopped.…

Does exactly what it's supposed to do :)
This plugin is perfect. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do… Stop emails. I include this plugin on all development and staging sites to make sure that no unwanted emails are sent. If I need to test emailing, I can simply turn on the log through this plugin. Thanks!
