Official plugin but feature set does not even cover basic analytics
This plugin is buggy and the feature set does not even cover basic enhanced ecommerce journey events, so your funnels won’t work. Abysmal.

No way of adding/connecting cookie consent form
Stopped working in March 2024 for countries that require consent before tracking. There are no options to connect your cookie pop-up or anything similar. Had to go and look for a different solution. Would never expect such a poor implementation from an official Woocommerce plugin.

Stopped recording Purchases
The plugin for some reason stopped recording Purchase events. Add to cart and other events are recorded properly but the most important one shows 0 in GA4.

buggy since 2.0.0
I used this plugin for over 2 years without any issues. However, since the release of 2.0.0 it’s just not usable anymore. My biggest issue is with the invalid value of purchase events. Due to formatting error, the conversion value was increased hundredfold. It cannot be deleted via GA4 deletion requests as devs…

Stopped working – rolled back to 1.8.14
Stopped recording data on GA4. Switched off various plugins to check for a compatibility issue and the only thing that worked was to roll this back to 1.8.14. Raised a bug report and was told it was ‘one of the other plugins and to do some compatibility testing’.

Causes conflicts since 1.8.13
Unfortunately the last version of this plug-in that works on my site (toxicgarb.com) is 1.8.13. Somehow, it stops page content from loading correctly, primarily images. Will now see if the support team are as good as suggested or whether I get the often used “there’s a conflict due to another plug-in” comment. Fingers…

This plugin is a lifesaver! It delivers on its promises, significantly reducing manual coding tasks. While some versions might be a bit rough around the edges, the support team is very quick, forthcoming and competent!

Version 2.0 does not work
Since the update to version 2.0 it does not work and does not track; it is not recommended to update the plugin or use it in those versions, as you will not be able to see the tracking of your web statistics.

does not work and slows down wp-admin and website
does not work, it sets my GA4 traffic to for 2 days. It even disabled sitekit outside of woocommerce! Also it slowed down both wp-admin and website heavily! All problems I had have been solved when I deactivated and deleted this plugin

Can’t use it in the EU because it doesn’t support opt-in. Opt-out is not sufficient.

Does not work with GA4
The support forum is full of people complaining that page views are not sent correctly using GA4 – which everyone will be using seeing as universal is now being imminently retired. The only advice given by plugin devs is to disable “add to cart” events, or modify the plugin code directly to fix their fault plugin…

It is certain that this plugin works perfectly to track pageview and ecommerce event conversions, maybe you need some patience and make sure you don’t log into an admin account while testing.
